Three grenades recovered from orchard in Sopore

Sopore, Mar 06 (GNS) : Government forces on Thursday recovered three hand grenades from an orchard in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Friday.

Reports reaching GNS said that a joint team of Army’s 52 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a search operation in an apple orchard at Krankshin near railway bypass crossing in Sopore town. During searches, three hand grenades were recovered.

SSP Sopore Javeed Iqbal while confirming it told GNS that a case in this regard has been registered.

Pertinently, an SPO, a Civilian were killed while as another cop was injured in militant attack in Sopore village on Wednesday evening. (GNS)
