Deputy commissioner Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdhury on Friday clarified media reports over secretariat issue.
Dr Iqbal in a tweet said, secretariat in Srinagar is functional, everything normal. I’ve just returned from there. One +ve case was found, particular floor cleared/disinfected, due protocols followed. Clarified after wrong media reports.
Earlier some media reports said scores of civil secretariat employees were put in quarantine who had reportedly came in close contact with a government employee who recently tested positive for COVID-19.
