BANDIPORA, OCTOBER 11: District Development Commissioner, Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad today visited Hassan Khoyihami Memorial Government Degree College, Patushai Bandipora to review the functioning and the ongoing works of the college.
He visited various blocks including library, Lecture Rooms, laboratories, New administrative and Student Blocks and under construction blocks of the college.
On the occasion Principal GDC Bandipora apprised, the DDC about various issues faced by the college administration. The DDC assured that all issues shall be taken up with the concerned quarters for their timely redressal.
He said the government has recently approved an amount of Rs 2.37 Cr for the purpose of fencing of premises of the college and said that the work shall be started at earliest to fulfill the long pending demand of the public.
Stressing on imparting quality education, the DDC sought details regarding courses available to the students in the college and the intend for introducing more job oriented courses in the college.
