Advisor Baseer Khan meets deputations, individuals

SRINAGAR, JUNE 30 (KINS): Several deputations and individuals today called on Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan at Civil Secretariat here and apprised him of their grievances and demands.

A delegation of Koker Bazaar (lalchowk), old court road traders met the Advisor and informed him about the various issues being faced by them. They raised the issue of limited footfall due to shifting of Sader Court from the area. Also, issues relating drainage, access roads and other issues pertaining to this commercial belt were raked up by the association. They requested the help of the Advisor in resolving the issues so that their economic activities do not suffer. The Advisor assured them of early resolution to their genuine grievances.

Another delegation led by Shahid Jeelani from Tujjar Sharief met the Advisor raising the demands pertaining to Astan tujjar Sharief and the adjoining area.

Similarly a number of other delegations raised various issues of public importance relating to their respective localities and sought the intervention of the Advisor Baseer Ahmed Khan. Several individuals also called on Advisor and raised their individual matters regarding various individual issues.

Advisor gave a patient hearing to all the delegations and individuals and assured an early redressal of their genuine demands and issues. He said that the issues projected by them would be taken up with the concerned departments for immediate redressal. (KINS)
