PCC holds public hearing at Kulgam

KULGAM, JULY 28 (KINS ): Pollution Control Committee Kulgam today conducted a public hearing for minor mineral blocks namely block No 7, 11, 13 and 28 of district Kulgam at Town Hall here.

The public hearing was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather.

During the public hearing, the local population placed their views in front of the authorities.

Public in general demanded to put in place all measures to safeguard their residential as well as agricultural land.

After listening to the public, authorities assured participants that all measures will be taken and genuine demands shall be looked into while issuing Environmental Clearance to the said blocks.

District Mineral Officer, District Officer Pollution Control Committee Kulgam and other officers were present during this public hearing. (KINS )
