J&K Police launch joint anti-terrorist operation in Sopore, gunfight erupts

Srinagar, Nov 10 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Saturday that the security forces have launched a joint anti-terrorist operation in the Rampora area of Sopore, Baramulla, following specific intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists. According to the police, a search operation was initiated by security forces in the area, which led to an exchange of fire between the militants and the security personnel.
Police stated that further details of the operation will be provided as the situation develops. The operation is ongoing.(KINS)
