CM Omar Abdullah calls for more buyer-seller meets to boost J&K Trade

KINS Desk

Srinagar, June 30 (KINS): After attending a buyer-seller meet in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that such events are important for improving trade and helping local businesses grow.

Speaking to reporters at SKICC, the Chief Minister as per news agency KINS said, “We’ll know the real impact of this event in the coming days. One buyer-seller meet won’t solve everything, but it’s a good start. We need to hold at least six such events, including reverse buyer-seller meets, to truly support our local producers and entrepreneurs.”

He added that regular interaction between local sellers and buyers from across the country is important to promote J&K’s products like handicrafts, fruits, and other agricultural goods.(KINS)
