Injured in house blaze, 18-year old Tangmarg girl loses 1-month battle for life

Tangmarg, Jun 18 : An 18-year-old girl of Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday lost her battle for life, a month after she suffered serious burn injuries when her house was gutted in a fire mishap.

Reports reaching said the girl Safeena Nazir (18) along with her father Nazir Ahmed Yatoo suffered injuries when their house was gutted at Sharia Tangmarg nearly a month ago.

Both of them were shifted to local hospital from where the duo was referred to SKIMS Soura where Safeena succumbed to injuries today, they said.

A police officer also confirmed the incident to GNS and said that she succumbed to her injuries today while her father is said to be stable and is undergoing treatment. (GNS)
