Srinagar, Dec 19 (KINS): The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, has ordered the promotion of 33 IAS officers of the AGMUT cadre to the Selection Grade in Level 13 of the Pay Matrix. The list includes several IAS officers currently posted in the Jammu and Kashmir segment of the cadre.
In a separate order, the MHA has also promoted 14 IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre to the Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) in Level 12 of the Pay Matrix, with effect from January 1, 2026.
Notably, five IPS officers from the Jammu and Kashmir segment of the AGMUT cadre are among those elevated to the JAG rank.(KINS)
