Rajouri, Jan 22 (KINS): In a crucial move to contain the ongoing health crisis in the Badhal area of Tehsil Khawas, District Rajouri, the District Magistrate has ordered the establishment of three containment zones under Section 163 of the BNSS.
The directive aims to prevent further spread of the infection by restricting movement and ensuring strict monitoring of affected families and their close contacts.
News agency KINS reported that the newly declared Containment Zone 1 includes households where deaths have occurred, with all entries strictly prohibited.
Containment Zone 2 focuses on families identified as close contacts, with mandatory health monitoring at GMC Rajouri. Containment Zone 3 covers the entire Badhal village, where food and water distribution will be closely monitored, and gatherings of any kind are prohibited.
These measures are set to be enforced by local police and designated officials, who will ensure compliance and maintain detailed records of food consumption in the affected areas.(KINS)
