Ramban, Sept 02 (KINS): Deputy Commissioner Ramban on Tuesday clarified that no cracks have developed on the Ramban Viaduct, dismissing social media reports that had created panic among commuters.
Responding to the circulating claims, the DC told reporters, as per news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS) that a technical team has already inspected the viaduct and surrounding stretches.
“We have verified the reports with our engineers, and there are no such cracks on the Viaduct. The area is totally safe, there is nothing to worry about,” he assured.
The Deputy Commissioner, however, cautioned that due to continuous heavy rainfall in Ramban district, people must adhere strictly to advisories issued by authorities.(KINS)
