DDC B’la Reviews Implementation of “B2V” works

BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 11: District Development Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo today chaired a meeting here at Dak Bungalow to review the implementation of commitments made in different sectors during the flagship “Back to Village” programme. The meeting also reviewed the implementation of various developmental works approved under 14th Finance Commission.

Meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, Assistant Commissioner Development, BDOs, other functionaries of the department and other concerned.

On the occasion, ACD briefed the meeting about pace of various developmental activities undertaken in various sectors under the programme. He informed that about 6963 works were identified in different sectors including RDD, Health, PDD and PHE. He further informed that 1491 works were approved which are in different phases of execution. He also informed that 1628 works pertain to RDD, 940 works to PHE and 498 to PDD.

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC stressed upon the concerned officers to work with zeal and dedication so that all the identified works are completed within set timeframe.
