Arrangements for JKSSB Class IV Exam finalized in Rajouri


RAJOURI, FEBRUARY, 25: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan on Thursday chaired a meeting to finalise the arrangements for smooth conduct of OMR based objective type written exam for Class IV posts to be conducted by J&K Service Selection Board.
The meeting was informed that the examination shall be held on 27th, 28th and 01 March, 2021 from 12 noon to 2 pm at 22 examination centers.
It was decided that Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, and supervisors shall be engaged for the purpose, besides required invigilators i.e one invigilator on every 24 students would also be deployed.
Moreover, the Information Department was asked to ensure full video coverage of each examination center.
The concerned officers from Jal Shakti Department and PDD were directed to ensure drinking water facilities and uninterrupted power supply respectively at the examination centers.
The Health authorities were directed to keep the provision of sanitizers and thermal scanners at the entrance of the examination centers.
The Police Department has been directed to ensure the foolproof security arrangements during the examination process .
It was also decided that proper signages would be installed at each examination centre so that the candidates don’t face any inconvenience locating their respective centre. It was also decided that the facility of additional desks and other logistics would also be provided at each examination centre by the Head of the institution.
It was also decided in the meeting that relaxation would be given to the students to sit in the examination, if they reach late but the cut time would be same for everyone.
Mobile phones and other electronic devices would not be allowed inside the exam center. Candidates would only be allowed to carry two ball-point pens and hall tickets inside the exam hall.
DDC called for maintaining close coordination among the concerned departments for smooth conduct of exams.
