79.94% students qualify class 10 JKBOSE exams
Srinagar, April 30 (KINS): The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Wednesday declared the results of the annual Class 10 regular examinations for the year 2025, registering an overall pass percentage of 79.94%.

According to official data released by the board, a total of 1,45,671 students appeared in the examination, including 75,427 boys and 70,244 girls. Out of them, 1,16,453 students successfully qualified the exams.

The gender-wise pass percentage reveals a higher success rate among girls, with 81.24% clearing the exams compared to 78.74% of boys. In absolute numbers, 59,390 boys and 57,063 girls have passed.

The grade-wise breakup shows that 16,343 students secured the top A1 grade, followed by 18,678 in A2, 22,219 in B1, 27,171 in B2, 25,583 in C1, and 6,432 in C2. Only 49 students received Grade D.

JKBOSE has made history this year by declaring the results of two major classes in a single day, streamlining the process for students and institutions alike.
