Ganderbal, Dec 7 (KINS): Fear and panic have gripped residents of the Akhal area in Kangan after several severed heads of livestock were discovered under mysterious circumstances on Saturday morning. The shocking sight triggered widespread alarm among locals, who immediately informed the authorities.

Police reached the spot soon after receiving the information and seized the remains for further examination. “A case has been registered, and a full-scale investigation is underway to ascertain the identity of the culprits and the motive behind the act,” an official told news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS)

Locals have expressed deep concern over the incident, linking it to the growing “rotten meat” crisis in different parts of Kashmir. Many have demanded strict action against those involved to prevent such incidents in the future.
