Srinagar, May 20 (KINS): Continuing its crackdown against narcotics-related activities under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday demolished an illegally constructed property allegedly linked to a wanted drug peddler in Srinagar’s Lal Bazar area.

Police said the demolished structure comprised a two-storey building along with an adjoining room and washroom constructed on State land at Haka Bazar, Lal Bazar.

The property, spread over around nine marlas and estimated to be worth nearly ₹1.5 crore, was allegedly linked to Arshid Ahmed Sheikh, son of Wali Mohammad Sheikh, a resident of Haka Bazar Lal Bazar, who is wanted in multiple cases registered under the NDPS Act.
