Pulwama attack accused dies of heart attack in GMC Jammu

Srinagar : Bilal Ahmad Kuchay, son of Gh. Nabi Kuchay of Hajibal Kakapora, died of heart attack at GMC Jammu last night, official sources said on Tuesday. Kuchay was accused of being part of the ‘Pulwama attack’ in which at least 40 CRPF jawans were killed in 2019. “An accused in the Lethpora attack died of heart attack at a Jammu hospital. Bilal Ahmad Kuchay, son of Gh. Nabi Kuchay and a resident of Hajibal Kakapora, died of heart attack at GMC Jammu last night,” official sources said. They informed that Kuchay was shifted to GMC Jammu from District Jail Kishtwar where he was undergoing treatment since September 17, 2024. He was in Kishtwar Jail since July 5, 2020.
