All Schools Shut Tomorrow Across Kashmir Due to Persistent Rainfall: Divisional Administration Kmr

Srinagar, Apr 29: In response to the relentless rainfall sweeping across the Kashmir valley, the divisional administration Kashmir said that all schools in the region will remain closed tomorrow. The decision aims to ensure the safety of students and prevent any potential hazards associated with the inclement weather.
The divisional administration emphasized the necessity of prioritizing the well-being of students amid adverse weather conditions.
The administration underscored the risks posed by heavy rainfall, including waterlogging, landslides, and other related hazards, which could endanger the safety of students commuting to and from schools.

The announcement comes as Kashmir grapples with incessant rainfall, leading to flooding in several low-lying areas and disrupting normal life across the region. Authorities have been on high alert, deploying personnel to carry out rescue and relief operations and mitigate the impact of the adverse weather.
The administration advised residents to exercise caution, avoid unnecessary travel, and stay updated with weather forecasts and advisories issued by the authorities.
