Mirwaiz Umar Farooq urges Govt to address civic and political issues of J&K

KINS Desk

Srinagar, Oct 28 (KINS): Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Monday called on the government to address both the political and civic issues of Jammu and Kashmir.

“The Kashmir issue is not only limited to daily life challenges such as roads, electricity, water, and employment but is also deeply rooted in a political problem that remains unresolved. The government needs to address both the civic and political issues of Jammu and Kashmir. One aspect involves daily civic issues like roads, electricity, water, and jobs. The other aspect is the political problem that requires a more dedicated approach,” Mirwaiz said, according to news agency KINS.

He added, “The leaders of his group are again meeting to discuss possible initiatives aimed at encouraging dialogue and working toward sustainable solutions.” (KINS)
