DC Rajouri flags off group of 10 girls for snow skiing course at Gulmarg


RAJOURI, JANUARY 23: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh Kumar Shavan on Saturday flagged off a group of 10 girls for 15 day snow skiing course being hosted by the Directorate of Youth services and Sports at Gulmarg.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh; Youth Services and Sports Officer, Mohammad Yousaf Lone and other Officers/ Officials of Department of Youth Services and Sports Rajouri were present on the occasion.
The girl students participating in the course were selected by the Department of youth services and sports from different zones of the district.
“During this 15-day training the participating students will be trained in basic, intermediate and advanced courses of Snow skiing,” the DYSSO informed.
It was informed that food, lodging, equipment, transportation, training, coaching, lift charges, heating arrangements and other facilities are being provided free of cost to the trainees.
